YEAR 3 READING COMPREHENSION (EDITABLE)






1. This assessment has been prepared in the form of a project and it covers all the skills for Year 3. 

a) The YEAR 3 CLASSROOM-BASED ASSESSMENT & THE READING COMPREHENSION should be given to students 2 weeks before the presentation day.

b) Students create a model house and prepare for their presentation within 2 weeks.

c) During the SPEAKING activity, each group will be given a LISTENING TASK SHEET. Students listen and write BASED ON 6 OTHER STUDENTS ONLY. (Teachers can choose based on groups. Ex: Group A listens to GROUP B.)


d) Upon the completion of the SPEAKING & LISTENING activities the writing assessment shall begin. Teacher can use one of the Step by Step Writing Module Part 3 Section A as the writing task.

e) Reading assessment will take place the last. Pupils are given the reading comprehension to read and answer.

2. Rubrics have been prepared for each skill so that PARENTS & TEACHERS are clear about the way children are assessed in the classroom. Rubrics have been made based on the YEAR 3 CEFR DSKP.
