YEAR 3 PROJECT-BASED ASSESSMENT RUBRIC (FINAL)

YEAR 3 LISTENING ASSESSMENT TASK SHEET IN PDF

YEAR 3 READING COMPREHENSION PDF IN PDF

YEAR 3 READING COMPREHENSION (EDITABLE)






1. This assessment has been prepared in the form of a project and it covers all the skills for Year 3. 

a) The YEAR 3 PROJECT-BASED ASSESSMENT should be given to students 2 weeks before the presentation day.

b) Students create a model house and prepare for their presentation within 2 weeks.

c) Within the 2 weeks, teacher can conduct the listening task. Each pupil is given a task sheet. Teacher plays the video and pupils fill in the blanks for Part A. As for Part B, teacher reads and pupils listen to complete the passage.

d) Pupils present their model house as part of their speaking task.


d) Teacher can use one of the Step by Step Writing Module Part 3 Section A or B as the writing task.

e) Reading assessment will take place the last or can take place within the 2 weeks after the listening task. Pupils are given the reading comprehension to read and answer.

2. Rubrics have been prepared for each skill so that PARENTS & TEACHERS are clear about the way children are assessed in the classroom. Rubrics have been made based on the YEAR 3 CEFR DSKP.

YEAR 2 PROJECT-BASED ASSESSMENT (FINAL)

YEAR 2 WRITING ASSESSMENT IN PDF








1. This assessment has been prepared in the form of a project and it covers all the skills for Year 2. 

a) The YEAR 2 PROJECT-BASED ASSESSMENT RUBRIC& THE ROBOT READING FLUENCY should be given to students 2 weeks before the presentation day. (The timeframe to practice for reading task can be set depending on pupils' proficiency)

b) Students create a robot and prepare for their presentation within 2 weeks.

c) Within the 2 weeks, teacher can conduct the listening task. Each pupil is given a task sheet. Teacher reads and pupils fill in the blanks. 

d) Teacher can carry out reading task. Teacher calls students individually to read and teacher should time each student. 

e) Teacher assesses pupils after 2 weeks in class or via video recoding. 



2. Rubrics have been prepared for each skill so that PARENTS & TEACHERS are clear about the way children are assessed in the classroom. Rubrics have been made based on the YEAR 2 CEFR DSKP.

3. My Assessment Booklet which covers the learning standards will be uploaded soon as it requires a lot of calibration between lessons and rubrics.

YEAR 4 MID-YEAR PROJECT-BASED ASSESSMENT (MCO VERSION)

1. This assessment has been prepared in the form of a project for kids to conduct at home with the help of their parents. PUPILS CAN WORK ON THIS PROJECT FOR 2 WEEKS.

a) Pupils design A BOARD GAME by drawing their creation on a piece of A4 paper based on a CHOSEN TOPIC. 

b) Pupils complete the writing task by describing their board game in the Board Game Manual Foldable. Pupils take a picture of their foldable and send to their teacher UPON THE DEADLINE STATED BY THE TEACHER.


c) Pupils prepare their short presentation about BOARD GAME (A week can be given for preparation). Pupils describe and talk about their board game and talk about what's special about the board game. Pupils must also demonstrate how to play their game. Pupils record their presentation and send their video via Google Classroom or any other preferred platforms UPON THE  DEADLINE  STATED BY THE TEACHER.

c) Pupils choose a STORYBOOK. Pupils CREATE A 10 QUESTIONS QUIZ set based on the story. Take pictures of their quiz questions and answers and send on their preferred platform a few days after the speaking presentation UPON THE DEADLINE STATED BY THE TEACHER.




2. Rubrics have been prepared for each skill so that PARENTS & TEACHERS are clear about the way children are assessed in the classroom. Rubrics have been made based on the YEAR 4 CEFR DSKP.

3. Teachers need to guide their kids to complete the tasks in order to be assessed.

Pupils describe their inclusive playground and talk about what's special about the playground. Pupils record their presentation and send their video via Google Classroom or any other preferred platforms UPON THE  DEADLINE  STATED BY THE TEACHER.

c) Pupils choose a STORYBOOK. Pupils CREATE A BOOK REVIEW based on the beginning, middle, ending, characters and settings of the story. Take pictures of their book review and send on their preferred platform a few days after the speaking presentation UPON THE DEADLINE STATED BY THE TEACHER.
